I knew that I loved numbers, the feel of community involvement and that I valued integrity and customer service.  I took those values to Viterbo University where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis.  This prepared me to pass the Certified Public Accountant examination in March of 2005.

I always had a desire to build my own accounting services business, but with the accounting degree and a farming background, I was not sure how to bring the two together.  I knew once I passed the CPA exam, I needed to start getting involved with the local community of Waunakee where I reside.  I remember sitting on the porch studying for the Certified Public Accountant exam and hearing on occasion a band playing “On Wisconsin”.  Curiosity led me to discover the Waunakee Community Band and before you know it I pulled out my flute after eight years and joined the band.  I loved the sense of community that Waunakee offered.  Two years later, I was asked to serve on the Waunakee Band’s Board of Directors elected as Treasurer.  I worked diligently with the band director and the IRS to clean up the tax status of the band and simplify the process of filing the non profit tax returns as well as develop simplified, easy to read non profit financial statements.

As a Waunakee CPA, Certified Public Accountant, offering reliable and affordable Waunakee Accounting services, I was glad to give back to the local community and love playing my role in the Waunakee Community Band.
